The Job

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and managing server infrastructures and data-center operations. With your expertise in automation and system administration, you contribute significantly to the continuous improvement of the system's efficiency, security, and performance.

Background

• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (Linode, Google Cloud. Azure, DigitalOcean, etc)
• Experience in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• +3 years of proven work experience in DevOps or similar roles
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, etc.)
• Familiarity with software development methodologies, particularly Agile

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage continuous integration, build management and deployment scripts and systems.
• Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure the availability, performance, scalability and security of productions systems.
• Collaborate with developers to oversee the code releases, combining understanding of both engineering and coding.
• Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotations, driving restoration and repair of service-impacting issues.
• Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines).
• Drive efficiency improvements and process refinement through automation.
• Maintain system efficiency and ensure design of systems allows all components to work properly together.
