As a Junior Elixir Backend Developer, you will be an integral part of our backend development team, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of Elixir applications with a focus on GraphQL. Background

• Hands-on experience or academic projects related to software development.
• Familiarity with Elixir programming language or other functional programming languages.
• Basic understanding of containerization and orchestration concepts (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Interest in backend development and GraphQL technology.
• Passionate about writing clean, maintainable code and eager to follow best practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to define and implement features and improvements in Elixir applications, with a focus on GraphQL.
• Participate in code reviews, learning from experienced developers and contributing constructively to the codebase.
• Assist in designing and implementing efficient and reliable Elixir OTP applications under the guidance of senior team members.
• Practice coding standards and development best practices while ensuring code quality.
• Contribute to the creation of user documentation for the developed systems.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to Elixir and GraphQL.
• Support the team in troubleshooting and debugging issues as they arise.
• Learn and grow by actively seeking feedback and proactively improving your skills.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and other team activities.
