The Job
You are a professional Data Scientist who participates in the implementation of FactoryOS features. Together with our frontend and data engineers, you are configuring the product features to meet our customers’ needs. As a Data Scientist, you will tackle complex problems in the manufacturing industry and solve them through the implementation of our product's different features.

Background

  • Studies in applied mathematics, physics, or engineering.
  • Experience in client facing roles. 
  • 2+ years of proven experience working with Python.
  • Experience implementing Machine Learning algorithms.
  • Extensive knowledge of mathematical models (heuristics, neural networks, gradient boosting, optimization, etc.), and their related Python libraries.
  • Languages: Written and spoken Portuguese and English.
  • Experience using Git: Pull requests, merges, and versioning.
  • Bonus: Studies in computer science.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of manufacturing processes and operations research.
  • Bonus: Experience with Docker, GraphQL and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

  • Developing custom ML/AI features tailored for each customer.
  • Assisting in productionizing ML/AI features.. 
  • Assisting in the collection and documentation of user’s requirements, development of user stories, and point
  • estimates.
  • Designing, develoing, and unit testing applications following established standards and best practices.
  • Supporting on writing client-level documentation for implementations.
  • Deploying models and constraints to production.
