Together with our frontend and optimization engineers, you are configuring the product features to meet our customers’ needs. As a Data Scientist, you will tackle complex problems in the manufacturing industry and solve them through the implementation of our product's different features.</p><p>Your job includes:</p><ul><li>Research and implement linear integer programming algorithms to solve problems in manufacturing.</li><li>Design and develop new algorithms to work as pre-process, constraint or post-process to the scheduling algorithms.</li><li>Be able to work with extensive databases to process them.</li></ul><h2><strong>Background</strong></h2><ul><li>Studies in applied in mathematics, physics or engineering&nbsp;</li><li>+2 years of professional experience working with Python.</li><li>+2 years of professional experience with integer programming problems.</li><li>Knowledge of Operations Research.</li><li>Studies and experience on scheduling algorithms.</li><li>Extensive knowledge researching and applying mathematical modeling.</li><li>Experience using GitHub: Pull requests, merges, and versioning.</li></ul><p>You’re a fast learner who thrives in challenging environments and has a creative and structured approach to problem-solving. This role goes beyond traditional account management—it combines strategic client engagement, sponsor reporting, account growth initiatives, and hands-on engineering support.</p><p>As a Key Account Engineer, you will act as the bridge between our clients and our engineering teams, ensuring seamless integration of Valiot’s AI-driven manufacturing solutions.
